Dear Friends of Second City Chamber Series,
To honor Governor Inslee’s instructions to stay home and stay safe during this global pandemic, and to prioritize the safety and well-being of our patrons, it is with deepest regret that we must announce the cancellation of our “Hymns and Spirituals” concert with Choral Arts Northwest scheduled for May 15th, 2020.
Out of an abundance of caution, we do not plan to announce 2020-2021 immediately. Please rest assured we are actively planning and hoping to share the love and art of chamber music in 2020-2021 with our audiences this next year!
Stay tuned for updates here on our website, and if you haven’t yet, please join our mailing list for the most up-to-date information about upcoming events.
Join (or update your mailing address) by June 1st to make it on our next season annual brochure mailing list. You may do so by clicking here.
At this challenging time for the arts around the world, if you had a ticket to this concert, we respectfully appeal to you to please consider donating the cost of the ticket to support the work of Second City Chamber Series. If you would like to donate your canceled “Hymns and Spirituals” tickets for the benefit of Second City Chamber Series, you need not do anything special. We thank you deeply for your generosity and support! We will send out donation thank-you letters for tax purposes by the end of May to any patrons with canceled tickets who have chosen not to request a refund. Patrons wishing to have their ticket cost refunded may do so by contacting us before May 20th, 2020 at (253) 572-TUNE (8863) or by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will gladly assist you with this request.
We look forward to inviting you to a safe “Concerts in the Gardens” later this year.
In the meantime, please stay healthy and take care.
We send you our thoughts and prayers for well-being!
